Can be worn comfortably under most helmets without changing helmet size
Protects face and neck from cold winds
One size fits all
Product Description
A great way to keep your face out of the elements when snowmobiling or four-wheeling. One size fits all and can be worn comfortably under most helmets.
I used it many times. On a 30 mile trip, it felt VERY uncomfortable exactly because of a seam that runs right in the middle of the forehead.
I was all sore. I finally realized where the source of all the pain was from.
Well, that's why the price is so low. You get junk for what you pay for.
Balaclava Face Mask
I found the Raider Balaclava to be all I expected. I got what I asked for.
good for the price
Good for the price. You won't confuse this with some of the high-end masks at Bass Pro, or Cabelas, but for $4.99, what do you want?
A bit short in the neck
May not be an issue but this one is also a bit short in the neck (as is the Vega), which may cause it to bunch up instead of staying in place. Depends on our preference I suppose.
Poorly designed
The seam runs right down the middle of your face! Very uncomfortable. It's bearable if you turn it inside out, but it just generally doesn't fit well...when pulled on the hole ends up near the crow of your head and when adjusted so you can actually see, you get a point of extra material the top of your head and poor fit around the eyes and nose. It does double as a (poor-fitting) neck gator if pulled all the way over your head, but if you need a face mask I'd recommend trying a different product.
