This automatic speed battery charger has a 10-amp fast charge self-adjustment feature which monitors battery condition and adjusts charge rate to prevent battery damage to your car, truck marine and farm equipment, gel cell, and deep-cycle batteries. The 2-amp slow charge helps in charging small batteries and maintaining large ones for motorcycles, snowmobiles, and lawn tractor batteries. It has an easy to read digital meter which displays battery charge status and test results. It weighs 6-lbs and has a retractable handle for easier portability. It is also provided with self-stored cables, system testing capabilities, and electronic push button controls. This item requires special handling for deliveries outside the contiguous US.

	Works really well Very good build quality; it doesn't feel cheaply made. Can charge all 12V battery types and has three different rates. To top it off, the price is very reasonable. The not so good is nothing that I can think of. I used this charger on my red top Optima battery at least three times. If you've got a weekend cruiser, this is the charger for you. It did a great job of topping it off and the battery wasn't even warm when it was done. The Good: Charger can also test batteries. Displays both battery capacity and voltage. Good Charger This is a good little charger, amazingly small. Lots of handy features. I appreciate the cord storage, so it makes a neat, uncluttered appearance sitting on the shelf. The only downside ... it's CHINESE ! Never thought there would be any Chinese named Shumacher .... more off-shore sourcing at work. Mike G. Thanks Adam South Visit our race team on Facebook "Lansingburgh Technology" Schumacher ssc-1000a automatic speed battery charger This is a great battery charger I bought one from sears and it did not charge so I went on line looking for one and found this one after reading the reviews I order this one I have a older charger but it would not charge two of my batteries so heard about this new charger that tells you how many volts are in the battery and shows you the percent of the battery as it charges so no more over chargeing works like a dream I would recommend this to anyone plus five year warranty very small and compact it even tells you if the battery is bad did the job small, lightweight, works as intended. i liked how it displays the battery charge as a percentage (just one of the display settings).
