the stant locking fuel cap was just what i needed til I attempted to put the cap on my 2002 ford excursion and it does not work. when i selected the does it fit your vehicle option it said it does and when I tried to install the cap it does not work on my ford vehicles. it is useless to me and now I am out of 18.00
Nice cap for the price
This cap fits in my 07 Jeep Compass. So far no check engine lights because of the gas cap. Comes with 2 keys. A+
Very well designed, secure and easy to use
For the first time I had the gas tank on my 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan siphoned and 10 gallons of gas stolen, so the next day I decided to get a locking gas cap so it wouldn't happen again, I did some shopping and discovered this one on Amazon for half the cost for the same one at local stores so I purchased it and am very pleased and happy because of the security it gives me in that I probably will not have almost $30 worth of gas stolen from me again.

A Fuel Cap it work good, no problems. Recommendation, only a leashes or conjunction mounting the Cap for the parts close-fitting.
This cap, #10508, did not work for me
The cap worked very well, however, it came with only ONE key. With three drivers in our home, I needed 2 more keys. First I tried all the local hardware stores and none of them had the blank. They noted that it was an unusual 2 sides key, and that I should check with a locksmith. They all said they could make a one sided key and that those blanks were common. Each one had their favorite locksmith, and I saw every one. They could not help me because of, "NO BLANK". Each one said that they come from China, and they don't want to pay for American blanks, so they use their own. Stant could not help me, nor could the supplier, Great Lakes Wholesalers. I had to return your cap and buy one from Pep Boys.
